Baptism - 13 May 2014

There were six children - Kaleb, Riana, Nikita, Charlotte, Hunter and Georgia, who were baptized on May 13 attended by everyone at St Mary's School. In Room 5 we learned about the five symbols and signs of Baptism which are the sign of the cross, water, candle, white cloth and the baptismal register and the steps taken during the baptismal ceremony.

Fr Chris Orr officiated the baptism.

The students witnessed this first sacrament.

Fr Chris poured water on the head of Kaleb saying.....I baptise you, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Then it was Hunter's turn.

Nikita was next.

Riana with Mr O'Neill as godparent...

Charlotte's turn with Mrs McDonald as godparent...

Finally it was her sister, Georgia's turn.

Congratulations to the newly baptized, children of God. It was a wonderful occasion celebrating it with the whole school.
