Mindfulness

The outcome of mindfulness is awareness of children's thoughts, impulses, feelings and behaviour which enhances their confidence, pleasure and sense of agency in their learning process.

Room 5 had a visit from Chris of Science Alive, who introduced the Mindball game, which test the concentration and relaxed mind of each student.

Chris, introduced the mechanics of Mindball.

The Mindball game began - we had to be very quiet.

The focused message from the brain is sent through the current in the headband and the ball in the tube moves accordingly which can be interpreted by the waves on the screen. Whoever has the ball away from her or him and hits the mark and makes a sound loses. The winner is on the other side where the ball is away from. Everyone of course, had a ball.
