Colour Poems

We are leaning to write a poem describing our favourite colours.

 RIANA

Yellow is a warm colour full of warmth.

Yellow is the colour of some flowers in a garden.

Yellow is the colour of the sun.

Yellow is the colour of the clouds as the sun sets.

Yellow is to me is summer’s night having a barbeque.

Yellow is playing in the fields of dandelions with my cousins.

Yellow is the sun which shines brightly.

Yellow is the colour of summer, my second favorite season.

Yellow is the colour of the autumn leaves.

Yellow is the colour of the grass in summer

Yellow is the colour of my glue stick lid.

Yellow can have its own coloured paper.

Yellow is one of the colours of a rainbow.

Yellow is the colour of a lion.

Yellow is the base colour of a leopard.

Red is the colour of the poppies, people who fought in the war.

Red is the colour of fire, any fire around the world.

Red is the colour of a dodge ball, where you hit people.

Red is the colour of blood, when people get shot or injured.

Red in the colour of roses, you give people if you upset them.

Red is the colour of the Hollywood red carpet where actors  and actresses walk on.

Red is the colour of a stop sign where you stop when driving, if you don't you cause an accident.

Red is the colour of strawberries, you eat them and they’re so delicious.

Red is the colour of the heart of people but if they’re sad it turns black in cartoons.

Orange is the colour of confused animals that have escaped from their owners
